Search for a cultural experience elsewhere. A waste of time and money.
温哥华美术馆的点评
点评：An absolutely disappointing experience. For a major art gallery in British Columbia the exhibits are less than interesting . It was lovely to see the Emily Carr paintings, but they are hung in a very odd way. The rest of the building was an uninspiring mess. We kept looking for art, we expected to see some early paintings of British Columbia. We expected something. We love art galleries and museums. We will travel far and wide to stand before a work of art, but this was a complete and utter waste of money and time.
Our experience could of been redeemed somewhat by the staff. No one engaged with us. Surely someone could of seen that we were amazed at this cultural wasteland. But we were ignored. Outside I was convinced we must have missed some of the gallery. But no. So do not waste your time or money on this cultural white elephant. Go to Stanley park instead and enjoy the beauty of nature. There is nothing in this gallery worth the visit, nice to see Emily Carr’s work, but remove them to elsewhere and lock up and throw away the key. What are you doing Vancouver?
