点评：Superbly rebuilt site (destroyed twice by the Brits) with re-enactments that are as impressive as they are instructive and fun. The opportunities to engage are countless and a visitor should budget several hours for an opportunity to learn not only about the fortress but about the time. CPs did a superb job, even as they couldn't escape the mandatory wokery with exhortations to 'Le multiculturalisme' and 'La diversité'... on a site devoted to European settlers and explorers. As if powers that control Canada cannot bring themselves to allow the descendants of European settlers the claim to their own heritage. Does diversité make us stronger, really - how? In any case, this is a site well worth visiting. And despite the obvious expense in maintaining the site and actors, free.
