点评:My wife, son (23) and daughter (14) were picked up by Eric at our Bayeux hotel at 9 am in the morning for a full day American tour. We drove to Saint Mere Eglise where we parked and pulled out maps to explain the breadth and depth of the D-Day invasion plan and execution.
He debunked several myths which we often hear from Hollywood and biased perspectives from the winning side which was very interesting. He has spent over 20 years educating himself on the specific details of the war and told several stories of days spent with German soldiers to hear their perspectives which gives him a well rounded understanding of the war.
It is amazing to hear how much he has learned over the years from those who were there. He brought us to places other tour guides simply don’t go and put color on the invasion that really made it a special day. Oh, and he is an amazing man having traveled so many places and experienced life and personal growth like few others. Thank you Eric.
