点评：My wife and I use Ottawa's Gray Line bus tour hop-on, hop-off bus tour to visit the museum on 9/5/26. The bus stop is directly across the street from the museum. We had purchased tickets ahead of time, for which I am glad as when we entered the lobby it was not obvious where to go to check in and have the tickets scanned. We finally went to the information desk and they scanned our tickets and stamped our hands. The museum feels like a city unto itself - the building is huge, there were lots of employees working, and tons of people visiting their incredible exhibits. There was so much to see - we could have been there for three days - and feels on par with the museums around Washington DC. The employees, the museum map, and the exhibit panels are bilingual. The ground floor (which is below the floor you enter from the street) has a large cafe and exhibits about the First Peoples. The second floor (where you enter from the street) had a special virtual reality experience about Napoleon, an area with tables to sit (although the food court is on the floor below), and a theater. The third floor has three separate exhibits about Canadian's history, organized by time periods. Restrooms are tucked away on all three floors. Whoever curated these exhibits did an excellent job. Even after being in the museum for almost 5 hours, we still did not have a chance to see everything. We hope to come back on our next trip to Ottawa so we can see the remaining exhibits on the third floor. From Ottawa's Parliament buildings, it is approximately a 1.3 mile walk to the museum which would not be too far if the weather is good.
