广东省博物馆新馆的点评
点评：Museum which showcases the history of Guangdong, in where you can see art, sculptures, artifacts, boats, architecture and much more. And while I was there they also had a special exhibition on Iranian culture and art.
Free entry but you have to apply for the tickets in advance as it can get quite busy.
Big museum with many floors - easy to explore and relaxing when taking in all the history and culture. Well spaced out
I liked the pottery exhibition the best, found it quite interesting and beautiful to see some of the designs but if I am to be honest I found the museum, as a whole, a but underwhelming. Its good but not quite brilliant. A tad bit boring in places truth be told.
Could have emphasized more of the characters and stories behind the history. There are other museums and galleries in Guangdong that I much preferred.
Worth a look for sure, but it just didn't float my boat, as they say!
(dinosaur and natural history part was closed on the day we were there - which was a pity)
