点评：Awful experience. You arrive and are immediately herded into a crowded room with insufficient seating for the numbers of people in it. Exhausted parents and tired older people are sitting and waiting, mostly on the floor or stairways, whilst children are running around screaming. Not enough loos for the number of people. Not even much information provided about turtles. It was exactly like being stuck in the departure lounge of a small but busy airport in August when all flights have been cancelled. You can’t risk going outside to enjoy the night air as your group might miss being called to see a turtle. After 2 hours of waiting around in the chaos, we left. There were no turtles to see the night we visited - we weren’t really expecting to see any and that wasn’t the problem, we knew before going that it’s not the season in January. But we thought we’d visit a nice place out by the coast, see some stars in the dark night sky and learn a lot about turtle conservation. What a joke. It felt to us like a tourist trap. My advice is to read other reviews as well as mine, before you go - then don’t go. We actually saw several turtles swimming around in the ocean in daylight near the coast around Muscat on various days prior to our visit to this “reserve” - you don’t need to come here to see them.
