点评：This is a really beautiful garden with some exceptional plants, many very rare. You might not expect a government run garden to be up to much!! But this is very well kept, very quiet and with lots to interest the plant/ garden lover. The front gate looks a little intimidating and the kiosk guard, but don't be put off. It is worth the effort and if you just speak English at the guard, he will wave you through. The one I met was really grumpy, but I just spoke English really fast and almost pushed me in to get rid of me. Quite amusing really. By the way, not all taxi drivers know where this garden is. One address here was wrong and I ended up in the middle of nowhere. The correct address is Yanshan street Yanshan district. It's basically on the road between Guilin city and Yangshuo. Enjoy.
