万峰林景区的点评
点评：This was a surprise hit for us on our trip. I added it at the last minute because it was close to the train station and I had an extra night to fill on my itinerary. It became one of our favorite places on our trip. The view is beautiful and refreshing. This area is just opening up so there were no crowds or tour groups. The visitor center was brand new and the bathrooms are the cleanest we have seen on our trip. To go up the hill to see the view, we bought tickets from the visitor center and took one of the scenic trolleys. The experience was really pleasant. The trolleys go in a loop. They stop at a scenic spot if you ask them to, and the next one will pick you up when you want to move to the next stop. You can also walk and hop on at the next stop if you get tired. The drivers and all the staff are competent, knowledgeable, and friendly.
This is still a working village, so a number of local families live and farm here. This place felt authentic, not touristy. The food here is fantastic and fabulously cheap.
