点评：This lookout offers sweeping, elevated views of Port Phillip Bay, the coastline and, on clear days, the Melbourne city skyline, Mount Macedon, and the You Yangs.But how do you find it, so if you are hiking... you will find it on the Arthurs Seat Summit Circuit Walk. If you are like many others, you will wonder why you would walk when you could drive. :)
If you are doing the scenic drive of Arthurs Seat Road, this will be the first lookout you come to as you head down towards the beach if you have been visiting the EAGLE. One thing to note, is that on your way down it's on the same side of travel, so it's much safer to stop at the lookouts on your way down... rather than on the way up where you have to cross the middle line and risk colliding with oncoming traffic. There is an area to stop to enjoy the view... this will not take much time but it is worth stopping for.
Based on local history records for the Dromana area on the Mornington Peninsula, the first European owner of the property in that area was George Chapman. The property, known as "Seawinds," later became part of the Arthurs Seat State Park.
