点评:The St Lawrence Market is in the downtown area of Toronto. Set in a historic industrial section, it attracts visitors to multiple food stalls, restaurants, cafes and bars on Front Street, where street parking is available.
There are 120+ specialty vendors offering fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, baked goods, wine and dairy products, as well as non-food items for sale.
We visited on a cold Friday in January and were surprised that it wasn’t very crowded, offering us the unique advantage of finding a table to sit at to enjoy our lunch – Japanese hand rolls from Quik Sushi, an amazingly fresh Italian sandwich comprised of fried chicken, eggplant and vegetables from Uno Mustachio and a classic Reuben from Stack’d Deli. We had an opportunity to walk around an peruse through the many mini shops and purchased cheese and fresh breads, as well as some souveniers to bring home.
