GET YOU VIP PASS ! I t saves you lots of waiting time
张家界武陵源风景名胜区的点评
点评：We were here 15 years ago here because we joined a tour which was on the itinenary.
Unfortunately it was the weekend so there are lots of local people plus tourist by the entrance gate. After the passing the gate,you have to take the local bus(standing in queue which surprisingly was quite orderly as they have personnel directing people to go onto the bus in the right numnber. I dont understand why people still run for their lifes trying to get on!?
We went to Wulingyuan which was about 20 minutes by bus ride. Then we have to take the vertical elevator up to the top. Believe me, there were lot of people,we were lucky we have the VIP pass(which is highyly recommended) avoid the line up as there is a special channel designed for that. The upward ascent is certainly breath taking you can see the entire Floating mountains as made famous by the AVATAR film.
The walk is about an hour and a half basically to see the same mountain ranges in different angles. The scenic spot was the narrow bridge which lies in a horizontal fashion in mid air which is now reinforced and covered by trees not as impressive as before.
It is certainly an alarming and breathtaking sensation for first comer. Remember going down is another area by condolars with long line up in the evening. Remember to bring a jacket/wind breaker when the sun goes down, it started to get windy and cold as it can take two hours wait for condolars.....it is worth the money to get a VIP pass also
