If you want the best chauffeur guide choose T-2!!

点评：We were provided with Tharindu, or T-2 as he asked to be called, as our chauffeur guide by our travel company and we are SO glad we were!
T-2 was a very knowledgeable guide who stayed with us for 15 days of our 19 day trip and nothing was too much trouble for him . He discovered it was our wedding anniversary whilst we were in Sri Lanka and he arranged for the hotel we were staying at on that day to specially decorate our room and provide a lovely anniversary dinner.
He took us on our tour and either acted as guide, or arranged excellent local guides (Sigiriya and the Pekoe Trail) and he seemed to know everybody at all the places we went to, which proved invaluable!
I should also, very importantly, point out that we felt very safe in the back of his car as the driving in Sri Lanka has to be seen to be believed!
He took us to the Temple of The Tooth, Pollonaruwa, Dambulla Caves, a Kandy street tour and many other unexpected attractions such as the Kandy fruit and vegetable market. We even met his lovely wife as we went through his hometown of Nuriya Eliya!
He also arranged for me to see a private doctor as I had developed a chest infection….as I said, nothing was too much trouble!
If you are planning on a tour of Sri Lanka and you are looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, respectful chauffeur guide I doubt you can find a better one than T-2!
