点评:I believe you can take a shuttle from Caneel here, but I cannot recommend the Lind Point Trail. It was so consistently rocky, it was an ankle or some other injury waiting to happen. For me, it was one of the worst trails I've ever been on due to needing such careful footing and worried due to past ankle issue. Suffice it to say, I did not reach the beach and think it was worth it. I reviewed the trail elsewhere, so I'll focus on the beach here. It has a lot of potential, but a business (not listed separately on TA, Bikini Beach Bar---maybe I'll start a listing later) should be open the hours it says. After that hike, we needed a "Painkiller" and possibly some food, but even though they were supposed to stay open another hour or so, they said not only were they not going to serve any food---reason was because not enough people as my husband stood there hungry ready to buy food and spend money, but would let him buy a drink. I didn't have much interest in the Painkiller drink but since they were closing and I was at the other end of the beach, husband ordered us one to share as they would not wait for any other order. We both agreed it was nasty, but it did create a laugh and killed some of my neck injury strain pain and his back pain from the hike down and carrying things all day, so maybe there is something to it.
When we were about to hike back and just exploring, the restrooms were locked and shower facilities were locked. So, no food, no more than 1 drink, no restrooms or way to wash off. After laying down for a bit after the hike and pausing to remove child who was making a way too close friend with a stingray right along the shore, we hopped in with that child while the others were half asleep on the beach. I saw great brain and I think elkhorn coral and decent marine life. This place again has serious potential but the trail should be cleared of constant rocks and the restaurant should make food and serve drinks to willing and paying customers who are standing before them well before they close--perhaps that would solve their not enough customers issue along with again, a less strenuous way of getting there. I totally like the idea of hiking a trail to a possible fun beach vs just driving there---it seems adventurous, but again multiple parts of this adventure were not fun, but could be with improvements. The trail was also visually boring. If you do choose to hike it, I'd advise hanging a right on your way out to the easier trail that gets you back and lands you in town---still rocky but not non stop watch each step rocky. It wasn't much fun, but we did have some laughs once we killed some pain and laid down, felt proud of doing it and did a little decent snorkeling in pretty water.
