点评：Templo de San Agustín is a graceful and atmospheric church that fits naturally into an exploration of Guadalajara’s historic center. Its architecture has the dignity and sense of permanence that make the city’s older religious buildings so appealing, while the interior provides a calm refuge from the movement and noise of the surrounding streets.
The church rewards visitors who take time to look beyond the main altar. The stonework, arches, devotional images, and traditional furnishings collectively create a strong connection to Guadalajara’s religious and architectural heritage.
This is not a vast attraction that requires hours to explore. Rather, it is a meaningful and visually appealing stop that can be appreciated at a slower pace while visiting the cathedral and other nearby monuments. That limited scope is the only reason I am rating it four rather than five stars.
