Hadco Experiences At Asa Wright Nature Centre的点评
点评：From the moment my family and I arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Crystal Gordon and her colleague who carried our luggage to our rooms. We were given an induction of our rooms and briefed on meal times etc.
Crystal and her colleague's pleasant and calm disposition immediately put us at ease and eager to familiarise ourselves with the property and its surrounding rainforest. On alternate evenings, we had the pleasure of knowing Alleen and being under her care.
The hummingbirds were one the highlights of my time at the lodge. There is a plethora of species (some native to Trinidad and others migratory). Guests have the opportunity to observe them up close feeding in nature!
Evening walks are avaiable each night, of which we enjoyed courtesy of Sabira. Sabira and Caleb (who took us on the daytime walk) are extremely knowledgeable and were keen for questions from us. We enjoyed a unique oilbird walk with Sabira and a manakin observation walk with Caleb. Both guides exude a pleasant and calm manner which makes the walks even more pleasant.
Everyday, we enjoyed authentic and delicious local dishes prepared with finesse and love from a wonderful catering team. Jacqueline and her team (including Keyana, Pam and the barmen) made us feel special and serenaded us in Trinidadian warmth and hospitality. Indeera and Tshana prepared an array of Trinidadian Indian inspired cuisine which we relished! Words cannot express our gratitude for such an amazing experience.
Asa Wright offers bespoke rooms with stunning mountain views! It is a lodge where one can observe and be in nature, meditate, walk/ explore, be at peace and meet like - minded guests. It deserves to be featured on the programme 'the world's most secret hotels.'
