Closes unannounced for private functions

点评：I recently went all the way out to this museum from Vancouver on a rainy day on the bus. It took me two hours. When I arrived, the lady at the counter told me the museum was closed for a private function. Both Google and the site's website did not mention this. I told her I'd come all the way out there. She offered no apology, no sympathy, and no compensation. She told me I would only be able to look around the outside of the museum and not the inside, expecting me to pay full price for wandering around outside in the rain. Rather than callously turning travellers away at the door, this horrible museum would do well to hold private functions on days the museum is normally closed or to offer a free ticket that could be used another day. I will not be going back to this place and will not be recommending it to others. The museum looked really small as well. It was a waste of time, money, and effort.
