Red panda feeding experience
Lincoln Zoo的点评
点评：For my birthday I was gifted the Lincoln Zoo red panda experience. This was a bucket list experience for me. I love red pandas and its such a joy to be able to get up close to one of these beautiful creatures. Thank you Lincoln Zoo for helping me tick this off my list.
We were led into the enclosure by the wonderful Jess, who was really friendly and super knowledgeable. We hand feed sweet potato to the red panda, called Forest, who was very excited to get his food. We were able to take loads of photos and chat with Jess about the species. The experience is fir 2 people only, which made it feel a bit more special, it felt very relaxed, not rushed.
The experience also included feeding the red ruffed lemurs. We had willow sticks dipped in pureed banana which the lemurs nibbled on. Again so lovely to get up close to these beautiful animals.
Afterwards we enjoyed exploring the rest of the zoo. There's a great variety of animals, as well as, a fun informative animal show with some animals I had never seen before. There are various talks and animal feedings around the zoo, we really enjoyed watching the Lynx and tigers being fed. We took some great photos of all the animals and enjoyed some lunch from the cafe.
I would definitely recommend a visit to the zoo and the red panda experience was truly memorable.
