After my visit yesterday 27thApril at Woodlands with my family we couldn’t have been more disappointed and upset, 1st of all I checked online the prices and for a family of 4 it would’ve been £71.88 as I only went online to check the prices and nothing else, so I was confident that was the actual price. Unfortunately, I am waiting on a new bank card as mine was lost so I only had cash on me, so I was only able to pay on arrival.
So, we went to pay for the tickets to find out we had to pay £99! Absolutely ridiculous not £5 difference but over £20 to use the same rides as there was nothing different only in price and its not right to do.
We went in the park to find out that most of the rides weren’t open so why charge the same price to people that is very wrong to do! My son and stepdaughter were very disappointed as the rides they could and wanted to go were closed! Surely the price would’ve been less if we can’t access the park rides fully! My stepdaughter is only a toddler and she’s 90cm tall and we still got charged when it says online, she wouldn’t have had to pay, woman on desk didn’t even bother to ask or even check her height which was very unprofessional all she cared about was the payment. I can’t believe that this still happened I chose to come to woodlands for a fun day and this was not a fun day at all. We had 2 upset children and the way the park is treating costumers is absolutely ridiculous and wrong! Charging families more at the entrance just because it wasn’t booked online not everyone has money in their account just to see the same exact things if it had been booked online and the fact half of the rides were closed its absolutely wrong and still you charge the same! I never been so disappointed in my life and I won’t be returning to your park ever again. I would’ve rather use that £100 and go to the zoo or another place at least we wouldn’t have been ripped off because that’s how I’m feeling right now. The main thing here was for us to have a fun family time and instead we left disappointed and with 2 upset kids!
Will write a review on TripAdvisor and share this bad experience with everyone because this is wrong to do to families especially now when things are more expensive and a struggle to live, we still try to make a day fun for our children and Woodlands was the worst experience ever! I hope you are very proud of this.
