点评：I have been back in New Zealand for around three weeks, and as a busy period has subsided I have now found time to reflect on my recent family holiday in Aitutaki, probably one of the best holidays we have had for quite a while! This was my second trip to visit the beautiful Aitutaki lagoon, but my first time taking my family to explore the island. We had a fantastic time staying on the island, and the lovely people of Aitutaki certainly helped make the holiday that little bit extra special!
Turning the big 50 I wanted to do something extra special, and the goal of catching a bonefish on the flats helped make the decision to choose Aitutaki as our holiday location that much easier. This is my second time fishing with the legendary Rua from 'Itu's Bones', and the whole experience with Itu's team was top notch! From the initial contact with the lovely Karlina, the two fun days hanging with my son and Rua chasing a variety of fish species on the flats and in the milk, to the extra help from the legendary Itu who went out of his way to organize an extra special day on the lagoon with his awesome Uncle, I can't recommend the Itu's Bones team highly enough! 🙂 I would definitely suggest booking afew days fishing with the team who are all great guys, as if you are unlucky enough to encounter some more challenging weather, then atleast hopefully one of the days will provide suitable conditions to sight fish for cruising fish on the flats! Tea was always great to chat to and I could tell along with Rua and Itu that spending a day chasing fish with any of the team would be a positive memorable experience! My son and I had a great time catching some good hard fighting fish, and we are already excited about heading back to Aitutaki again for our next family adventure, this time hopefully with the whole family on board! A big thankyou to Rua, Itu, Karlina, Tea and Itu's awesome uncle for helping make our Aitutaki holiday such a fantastic time for all the family! 😄 Thanks very much guys!!! Chris out 🙂
