Fort Anne National Historic Site的点评
点评：I am a public historian and very interested in the history of North American star fortresses, and I had heard about Fort Anne for a long time. It didn't disappoint and I found it well worth the time to visit. I'll add some positives and negatives though.
Positives: Like many forts it has a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape from the walls. The walls and inner structures are original and mostly in tact. The museum/visitors center packs in a lot of information. I also loved the historic garrison cemetery.
Negatives: If it is a hot day walking on the grass outside can be tough, you might want to walk earlier in the day. The visitors center info panels are a bit overloaded. I would love to see more interpretive displays outside or in areas like the powder magazine.
That said I loved the experience of coming here and would reccomend it to any history buff. I even came back for a second visit and spent more time walking the grounds. Well worth your time!
