Overall it was fun but the exhibits had some room to improve.
Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic的点评
点评：I went here with my mom in early August. We are both museum people and were in Lunenburg for a couple of days so we wanted to check it out. We were told that there was a video about the fishing industry on one of the floors that would help to explain alot, they had a theater and it was playing a 50s or 60s era educational video. It was fine but a little dull and didn't answer all of our questions.
The exhibits were actually very good overall and I loved many of the artifacts. The building itself is very unique and interesting and it was also accessible. What I kind of wanted to see with this museum was sort of an elevator pitch about why these stories matter. I am on their side as an institution and think fishing is an interesting topic but my mom came out not having fully learned the broad narrative arc of the story they were working to convey. I think that is something to consider coming from one professional to another.
With some exhibit updates and a little more of a narrative thread for vistors to follow who are unfamiliar with the industry I think this would be a five out of five because I thought everything else in the museum was top notch. Overall it was fun but had room to improve.
