点评：If you’re looking for a peaceful escape from Hangzhou’s city buzz, Matcha Lake (Qingshan Lake) is a fantastic day trip. It took us almost two hours by car from downtown Hangzhou, so definitely plan for a full day – but it’s well worth it.
The lake gets its nickname from its surreal, vibrant green water that really does look like matcha. It’s an absolute dream for photography. We spotted wild deer roaming freely, plus ducks, swans, and other waterbirds – it feels wonderfully untouched and tranquil.
Very Instagrammable spot all around – think misty mornings, calm waters, and lush scenery.
Pro tip: Go on a weekday if you can. Weekends can get surprisingly busy, and the magic is in the quiet. A weekday visit made the experience feel private and almost magical.
