Navajo Spirit Tours的点评
点评：We opted for a private tour. Sariyah was our Navajo guide in the morning. We did a partial tour of the Monument Valley Scenic Loop drive, which is open to the public to drive. We then entered a restricted area off the loop.
There was a one hour lunch break on our own.
Our guide in the afternoon was Gary. We explored a restricted area outside the park. Totally different landscape, no large stone monuments as in the valley. We went to Mystery Valley, beautiful, more vegetation. We visited a couple of cliff dwelling. Gary pointed out kiln locations for making pottery. He spoke of the spiritual energy of the place and Navajo beliefs.
Sariyah played the flute at one of the stops, we were in a large domed cavern with an “eye” opening in the roof.
Gary played the drum and then the flute at a spot where the sound echoed to where we were sitting a bit away.
The tour was wonderful, both Sariyah and Gary answered many questions, the music was very special to hear.
