Wonderful place to visit if you like rice terraces
梯田的点评
点评：We recently visited the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces as part of a full day trip with Ubud Area Tours. This was one of a handful of stops on our UNESCO themed day trip and the place most in our group liked the best.
Jatiluwih is the largest of Bali's rice terraces and situated around 700 metres above sea level, providing cooler climate conditions and very productive growing cycle, allowing for three annual harvests. Thus, the rice terraces are constantly changing, meaning what you see here one month, will look quite different if you were to come back a month later. Entry fee is now IDR75,000 per adult, there is a small vehicle fee as well.
On the main road leading to the terraces, there are several small hotels and restaurants. The views from the roadside are very good. However, best to walk along one of the coloured trails that lead you into the hilly countryside lined with rice terraces so that you can spend time up close to the terraces. The trails are for walking and cycling, distances vary so consider how much time you have available.
While walking along the trails you find yourself surrounded by terraces on both sides, you will see people working the fields, some cattle, egrets and encounter a handful of small casual snack and drink shops setup where you can rest and have a quick bite or drink while enjoying the views. Some of the little shops sell packages of food snacks that are good for snacking on while at Jatiluwih or back in your hotel later on.
During this visit, we spent around one hour and 15 minutes walking the brown loop trail and then followed with lunch at the Jatiluwih Resto before making our way to our next intended visit on our day tour. Really enjoyed our time here again and look forward to seeing Jatiluwih again during future trips to Bali.

这次游览，我们花了大约一个小时十五分钟走完了棕色的环形步道，然后在贾蒂卢维餐厅 (Jatiluwih Resto) 享用了午餐，之后前往我们一日游的下一个目的地。我们非常享受这次的贾蒂卢维之旅，期待未来再次造访这里。
