点评:For over $900 for 2 ppl for half day, I would have expected a bit more of a “guide”, or at least some proper direction or clear instructions. Instead this is a transportation service only, they just fly you over and plop you down, and be prepared to figure things out on your own. We checked-in at the desk in the morning, and the receptionist was really unclear. He thrust a map at us and said “you can snorkel here, here, here and here.” Of course, none of this made any sense while standing at the airport counter, and the only thing I understood was “swim out 100 yards to the buoys.” When I asked him, “it’s windy today, which is the best side of the island to snorkel away from the wind?”, his response was “I don’t know, I’m not on the island, but ask your pilot.” We arrived on the island, I asked the pilot which way to go, and he pointed in a general direction and said “that way.” The pilot then flew off, presumably back to Key West for more passengers, and left us. My friend and I walked in the direction where we were pointed, I spotted buoys, and we attempted to snorkel. We swam out to the buoys and saw nothing but sea grass. I mean nothing! Since this was supposed to be the “best” snorkeling in the Keys, this was a huge disappointment. We swam a long way back to shore and my friend was totally exhausted by then. After we wasted more than an hour seeing nothing, we then met some campers who told us that you’re not supposed to swim out to the buoys, as we were told, but that we should instead swim around the brick wall. But, by now we had only an hour left, my friend had no energy to snorkel any more, and I did the best with the little time left. My friend saw nothing. I at least got to see some coral and fish around the brick wall, I had maybe 30 minutes to enjoy it, and then it was time to depart. I felt totally cheated, and, after spending over $900, I would expect more than a map and an unclear explanation and a “drop off.” This is a waste of time and money unless you have someone show you where you’re supposed to go, and, for over $900, they should do more to ensure guest satisfaction.
