Cedar Valley Golf Club的点评
点评：Staying at the local Sandals
Resort, I booked 18 holes at Cedar Valley through the reception desk for a Saturday morning round. Arriving by taxi the club house and open bar/ restaurant had seen better days and the golf hire carts were old, tired with ripped seats.
A friendly lady in the small club shop took my green fee, £135 English pounds all in and I headed out by myself in one the hire carts ,an old set of Taylor made hired clubs to boot.
As luck would happen, I arrived at the first tee, just as two locals guys were about to head out. Hey, come and join us, so i did and was lucky to have two players, both members, ( Jason and Andy )showing me the track and describing each hole as it unfolded, while they both puffed on Cuban cigars.
The course was dry, rough around the edges, the greens are poor, but there are some stunning holes, dog legs, elevated long par 3’s with great views set in the hills and valleys at this end of Antigua.
If your like me and like to escape for a round of golf while on holiday, it’s well worth a visit.
