A beautiful but somewhat cavernous performance venue

点评：Please NOTE that this review focuses on Segerstrom Hall, which is the largest venue on the Segerstrom Center for the Arts campus, hosting primarily large-scale ballet and Broadway musical productions. My wife and I attended a performance of the Broadway musical “Six” at Segerstrom Hall in mid-March of 2026.
The building itself is stunning, with lovely architecture, a well-appointed interior and comfortable seats. It is a very large theatre, with 3,000 seats over four levels (in comparison, the Ahmanson Theatre in downtown Los Angeles seats 2,109 while the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood seats 2,703). I’ve attended many performances there in various sections of the theatre and can attest that the balcony section is extremely high, so while the sound and sightlines throughout the theatre are excellent, if you have balcony seats you may want to bring opera glasses or a small pair of binoculars. Consider whether or not it is worth it to you to spend a little extra for seats in the orchestra, terrace or loge levels.
On our most recent visit we had excellent seats and thoroughly enjoyed the performance. We are pretty certain that this will not be our last visit to Segerstrom Hall.
