点评:I had a very unpleasant experience at the Owens-Thomas House and Slave Quarters tour. I didn't realize there were stairs (steep stairs) on the tour and after a long day of sightseeing in Savannah I decided I didn't want to climb the stairs when the tour began and stayed on the first floor. The tour guide came down and asked why I had not gone upstairs to see the slave quarters. I let him know that i have trouble climbing stairs. He said that the other part of the tour had stairs as well. He looked angry and I thought it was because I didn't participate in the tour so I told him I would try to climb the stairs but I would have to go slowly. He said he didn't want me on his tour because I had offended him. He was raising his voice in front of the rest of the group that was on the tour. I told him that he had misunderstood why I didn't climb the stairs but he stormed off mumbling that he was pissed off. I was so embarrassed and upset that I just sat down and waited for my family to finish the tour. He ruined my day but I decided he would not ruin my whole trip. Savannah is a great city with a lot of nice people in it but Dook, the tour guide, was not one of them.
