点评:I had a spooky experience as we decided to go around 11:30 at night! My husband is from the area so we felt very safe walking the five blocks from our hotel to the Lalaurie mansion. As I approach the mansion, I took my phone out and began to make a short video. I walked all along the front of the house and along the side of the house detailing very quickly what had happened in the mansion. At the end of my video, my husband asked me if I’d like to take a picture in front of the house to which I said no, he asked if I just wanted to see it and I said yes , that I didn’t want any pictures and at that moment one of the wooden pegs from the crown molding around the house flew and hit the sidewalk, bounced off and hit my foot. My husband immediately freaked out and wanted to leave. I wasn’t ready to leave yet and proceeded to walk around the house one more time. I can’t wait to go back. We did drive by the next day because I wanted to see if the peg was still laying on the sidewalk and it wasn’t. I should’ve taken it, but my husband says they are taught from a very young age not to dabble in the spirits that live in the city.
