Very disappointing experience
Hamilton Island Golf Club的点评
点评：We were staying on Hamilton Island and went to the golf club for lunch to celebrate my husband’s special birthday.
The food was well presented but we were all very disappointed with the size of the portions. Considering the cost we thought it was very poor value. As we went on a Sunday we were also hit with an extra 10% on the bill which was significant on an $800 bill for 5 people!
Also when booking there was a question about whether it was for a special occasion. I indicated it was for a birthday but there was no point as it wasn’t acknowledged. A complimentary dessert would have been a nice touch and made the lunch more of a celebration.
Our waitress was pleasant but her shift finished an hour after we arrived. The rest of the staff were quite unfriendly and bordering on rude when we had to wait for the boat to return to the island. I would not recommend.
