The best thing to do outside at night in Colorado!

Honestly one of the best evenings I’ve had since moving to Colorado. CE took me up into Rocky Mountain National Park right as the sun was going down and the timing was perfect — we caught Longs Peak lit up in that golden hour light that you can’t plan for but he somehow did. He had great music going on the key parts of drive which just set the vibe.
What surprised me was how much I actually learned. CE broke down how glaciers shaped different parts of the park and made it fascinating, not dry.
Then after dark he pulled out a telescope and spent real time walking me through what we were looking at in the night sky. I wasn’t expecting the astronomy piece at all and it ended up being my favorite part.
CE is just a genuinely great guy. Super friendly, easygoing, clearly loves what he does. You can tell he’s not just running a tour — he actually cares that you have an incredible experience. I’d recommend Wild Side 4x4 to anyone visiting Estes Park or anyone local who wants to see the park in a totally different way.
