Delta Force Paintball Upminster的点评
点评：I booked my son's paintball party with Delta Force over a month in advance, so it was incredibly disappointing to receive a phone call less than 48 hours before the event telling me they could no longer host it. Their only suggestions were to take a refund or move the party to another date. Anyone who has organised a children's party knows that simply isn't realistic with two days' notice.
They then suggested I pay to add six extra people. When I asked to speak to a manager, I never received a call back. After I contacted head office myself, they said they would "compromise" and let me add fewer people instead—but it would still cost me an extra £150. There was no meaningful attempt to put right a problem that they had created.
In the end, I had to come up with the solution myself by asking to move the booking to another Delta Force venue, which was an additional 30 minutes away. That meant extra travelling for all of our guests, purely because of their cancellation.
I also asked whether they would offer any compensation, given that they had cancelled a service I had booked and paid for with less than 48 hours' notice. They accepted no responsibility whatsoever. I was promised a call back within 30 minutes, which never happened. When I chased again the following day, I was simply told that someone would contact me "when they can."
The lack of communication, accountability and customer care was extremely disappointing. Thankfully the party was salvaged, but only because I pushed for a solution. I wouldn't book with this venue again based on how this situation was handled.
