The Castle & Gardens of Mey的点评
点评：We vistied the Castle of Mey as a family to enjoy the afternoon which was priced at £20 as there was no menu avaliable on line we decided to take a risk.
The ground and Granary are beautiful and the ladies who served us where lovely, the afternoon tea was nice nothing special but for £20 we couldn't moan.
When we were due to pay however it was a different story we went as two couples and when we went to pay I was charged £54 at the time i thought wed just been charged for the prosecco from the two that were with us as we didnt pay together so thought nothing of it. However this was not the case the afternoon tea was actually £27. The website states £20.
I brought this to their attention via an email and was offered a free afternoon tea lovely gesture however as we live 10 hours away not doable. I replied to the email and even stated even thougg I had brought the incorrect pricing on the website to their attention it was still showing the £20 price and declined the offer of a free afternoon tea as too far for us to return. They haven't replied.
Under Section 20 of the Consumer Protection Act 1987 makes it a criminal offence for a person in the course of his business to give consumers a misleading price indication about goods. So please if you are going lease check prices as we feel as though we have been scammed and now would not recommend.
