Rude unhelpful staff.
Wyedean Canoe & Adventure Centre的点评
点评：Myself and husband live local, we had left our car at Lydbrook and using our own canoe were canoeing to Monmouth. Unfortunately whilst starting to go through the rapids at Symonds Yat we lost our only paddle. We were stranded in the river. I managed to scramble up the bank and went to Wyedean Canoe Hire to ask if we could borrow a paddle and would return it the following day. I was met with rude staff who said i could hire one, and wanted proof of identity. I explained the situation that we had no money, my husband was with canoe in the river in heat of 30 degrees. Again I was refused and the male shrugged his shoulders. We eventually managed to get the canoe up a steep overgrown bank and had to phone a neighbour to collect us. My husband and I are in our 60s.
I found the staff rude and unhelpful and would not recommend this business as there are a number of canoe hire places nearby.
