I recently had the pleasure of spending five nights and six days with the Akaroa Cooking School in the beautiful region of Umbria, Italy. The experience, managed by the wonderful Ant and Lou Bentley, was nothing short of exceptional. It is my second experience with this incredible team, and I will always come back for the European experience.
From the moment we arrived, Ant and Lou made us feel at home with their warm hospitality and passion for Italian culture. Each day was meticulously planned, blending delightful tours of the stunning Umbrian countryside with immersive cultural experiences.
The excursions around Umbria were truly impressive. We visited charming villages, historic landmarks, and local markets, gaining a deeper appreciation for the region's rich heritage. Ant and Lou's local connections provided us with unique experiences that we would not have discovered on our own.
Accommodation and dining throughout the trip were top-notch. The venues were carefully selected for their comfort, character, and scenic beauty, ensuring a relaxing and memorable stay.
