点评：My wife and I booked a four-hour evening Private Moose Land Based Tour with Northeast Whitewater. Upon our arrival at their base, we received a friendly greeting from the human and canine staff. We had time to browse the gift shop before our private tour departed. Our guide was Sam; he kept us informed and entertained for the next four-plus hours in the van. Sam's knowledge of the north woods area, its history, geography, and wildlife was amazing. We learned a lot about life in this part of Maine that we wouldn't have known about otherwise. There was plenty of wildlife to see including deer, grouse, hawks, and a fox. The moose had their own agenda that evening and decided not to show themselves, but that is no reflection on Sam or on Northeast Whitewater. Sam tried his best to find them, but they were just not having it! We highly recommend Sam and Northeast Whitewater to anyone who wants to experience a close up look at the North Woods through the eyes of a local professional guide.
