A Walking Holiday We’ll Remember Forever
Creative Catalonia - Bike Holidays Girona Spain的点评
点评：We booked a six-day walking holiday with Creative Catalonia along the Camí de Ronda, and the whole experience was superb from start to finish.
Lucy and Daniel were incredibly accommodating, adapting the trip and adding extras to suit what we wanted. Beforehand, they asked about our fitness levels and used this to plan the walking sensibly. This was particularly important because it was hot during our trip — around 30°C on most days — but their knowledge of the route meant that each day still felt very achievable.
At the start of the holiday, Daniel met us at our hotel and talked us through the entire trip. He gave us our maps, GPS tracker, day pack, water bottles and energy bars, explained the routes and arrangements, answered all our questions and made sure we had all the emergency contact information we might need. He was utterly charming and immediately put us at ease.
The walking itself was glorious. Much of the route follows the extraordinarily beautiful Catalan coastline, with wonderful beaches, hidden bays and coves along the way. Being able to stop for a swim in the warm, crystal-clear Mediterranean before carrying on walking was a particular highlight. There were also plenty of places to stop for lunch, drinks or a rest, all clearly marked on the map and GPS provided.
The hotels Creative Catalonia chose were excellent. After a long day walking in the heat, arriving somewhere comfortable and rather luxurious was hugely appreciated. On a couple of occasions we stayed for two nights in the same hotel, which felt like an additional treat.
The luggage arrangements also worked perfectly. Each morning we simply left our cases at the hotel and they were collected and waiting for us when we arrived at the next one. Everything was seamless.
Communication throughout was via WhatsApp and could not have been easier. Lucy and Daniel were very responsive and also checked in with us periodically during the walk to make sure everything was going well.
This was our first walking holiday outside the UK and the first time we had used a company to organise one. We chose Creative Catalonia because the reviews online were so good, and they turned out to be entirely justified. The whole experience was smooth, easy and extremely well organised.
We would not hesitate to use Creative Catalonia again or recommend them to others. It was one of those holidays we know we will remember forever.
