点评:For me, this was one of our top experiences in Iceland! The staff was very helpful, the horses are kind and beautiful, and the ride was breathtaking. We had a good sized group but there were enough horses for everyone, and the staff tried to match up horse personality with rider experience. We even stopped half way and let the horses graze in a meadow area. I felt bad for my horse because with my bad hip I could not get off and back on without help, and since we only had a couple of guides along, I didn't dare get off at the meadow. But my horse was very tolerant of me and enjoyed his grass and drink at the stream anyway! After the ride, there is a little refreshment area with free coffee and tea. The only thing I would recommend is to wear a base layer and your rain jacket even if it is a nice day. My family also wore some light waterproof gloves. The wind in the lowlands is brisk up on the horses. The horses will ride in rain as well, and in Iceland you never know when it pops up! They will give you a riding helmet, but you can put a hood up and then the helmet. Also you may want to put your phone on a lanyard because you WILL want to take photos and not drop your phone while trying to stay on the horse!
