点评：I had a great experience at Laxnes horse farm and would recommend it to all! :)
It is a family run farm, and the people who run it are very friendly, kind and welcoming. The pick-up in Reykjavik went smoothly, we were given loan gear to keep us warm and safe. The horses were lovely. The surrounding landscape was gorgeous, with mountains and little creeks and rivers that we crossed during the ride, where we could see geese and ducks and other birds.
They were careful to adapt the ride to each person's skill level, asking us about our experience beforehand and picking out our horses individually to match our level. Our group consisted of more experienced people, as well as people who had never ridden before. They made sure that those of us with more experience were allowed to separate from the rest of the group towards the end so we got to go a bit faster than just a walk.
I managed to forget my gloves in the pocket of the warm suit they gave me for the ride. But they were kind enough to find them for me and deliver them to me in Reykjavik when they came to pick up new visitors the next day. I really appreciated that extra effort on their part.
