点评：What an absolute privilege to be invited in by Joey Laifoo and his Island Allstars to listen, watch, learn and walk the sacred culture of the Torres Strait Islands. One of the oldest and enduring cultures within the world!
As Joey generously shares with you about his traditional ways handed down to him, you not only hear Joey’s voice, but you also feel his spiritual ancestors that have come before him.
Joey is so generous with his knowledge, time and heart. Making time to authentically connect, and share with each individual participating with his cultural experience.
His dancing crew so open, engaging and joyful as they dance whilst the sun sets. Magic!
The amazing show is a hands on experience where you do more than just listen and watch, as you are invited to physically participate (touch, feel and do). At the end of the experience everyone comes together to feast on a traditional meal. Yummo!!!
My mind, heart, soul (and tummy) was nourished.
I highly recommend this brilliant experience. You are missing out if you skip this amazing opportunity. When I return, I will certainly be seeking out this experience again and again and again.
