Back Bay Fishing with Ryan

点评：Ryan was our guide for some back bay fishing. My husband fishes in Minnesota but this a little different! Ryan knew just where to go and was very knowledgeable about fishing structure, bait, tide effects, etc. This was not our day, as we hauled and tossed back catfish after catfish, but ended up with enough good fish for a meal. Ryan did the cleaning - he’s very quick! Ryan suggested Snug Harbor as a place to have our fish cooked, and they did a great job. We compared our fish to Snug Harbor’s hog fish, and while theirs was good, there was no comparison with our extremely fresh fish.
I’ve been out on boats where the crew presumes that their job is to help you haul in fish after fish, they think tossing back is a crime, and you end up with much more fish than you can eat. So wasteful. This was not like that, much more laid back. We had a great time getting out on the water, learning a bit about local nature - and seeing some of the remaining effects of Hurricane Ian (beached & wrecked boats here & there.) Thanks, Ryan!
