I had an incredible experience with Kasjarod Surf School in Lombok. What made it truly special was not only the quality of the surf lessons, but also the person behind them.
Kas was an outstanding coach. Every day in the water, he was patient, encouraging, and able to explain things in a way that made me improve quickly while still having a lot of fun. Whether it was reading the waves, improving my technique, or building confidence in different conditions, his guidance was always spot on.
But what made this experience unforgettable went far beyond surfing. Through our many conversations, Kas gave me a genuine insight into life on Lombok. He shared stories about the local culture, traditions, values, and the people who call this beautiful island home. I arrived looking for surf lessons, but I left with a much deeper appreciation of Lombok and its community.
Kas is not only a great instructor but also a truly kind, open-minded, and inspiring person. He made me feel welcome from day one and treated me more like a friend than just a customer. Those personal connections and conversations became just as valuable as the time spent catching waves.
