点评：I'm so sad to write this, one of my favourite bars in Durham, been so many times over the years, usually the same guy behind the bar who was always chatty, made recommendations, was fantastic, the vibe was always nice and chilled. Went out for valentines drinks with my husband and knew that this place had reopened after refurb so was excited to see what was going on. It was a total let down. We had our code ready to get us in and the door was open ready to let us in, got upstairs and headed towards the bar and we were stopped by a bunch of waiters, they were a bunch of young, I presume students who looked like they were dressed in their dads over sized suits from the 90s. Almost all of the tables were available and we were asked if we had a reservation, we said no and were told "Oh that's fine just sit anywhere" was told it was table service, waited a little while for order to be taken, wrong drink was brought over but was quickly rectified. The vibe and the theme of the place just felt different and every person who came in was asked if they had a reservation and then told it didn't matter just sit anywhere, that just felt a bit silly like that were trying to have this vibe of you must have a reservation even though the place is empty. Such a shame.
翻译：写下这些话我感到非常难过。这家酒吧是我在达勒姆最喜欢的酒吧之一，这些年来我去过很多次，通常都是同一个调酒师，他总是很健谈，会推荐酒水，服务也特别好，酒吧的氛围总是轻松惬意。情人节那天，我和丈夫去这家酒吧喝了几杯，听说它重新装修后重新开业了，所以很兴奋地想看看现在怎么样。结果却大失所望。我们准备好了密码，门也开着，准备让我们进去。我们上了楼，正要去吧台，却被一群服务员拦住了。他们看起来很年轻，我猜是学生，穿着像是90年代爸爸穿的那种超大号西装。几乎所有的桌子都空着，他们问我们有没有预订，我们说没有，他们说“哦，没关系，随便坐吧”。他们说这里是桌边服务，我们等了一会儿才有人来点单，上来的酒也错了，不过很快就换了。这家店的氛围和主题感觉很不一样，每个进来的人都被问有没有预订，然后又说没关系，随便坐就行。感觉有点傻，好像明明店里空荡荡的，他们却想营造一种必须预订的氛围。真是太可惜了。
