Bedford Boys Tribute Center的点评
点评：Me my partner and his Aunt visited the Center while visiting her in Bedford. I had found out that I had a link with the Bedford boys, as my Nan was a child living at Tidworth barracks when the boys were training there, so I wanted to find out more about them.
The centre is a wonderful tribute to such brave men, it shows the effect war can have on a whole town. Respectful mementos from the boys and their time in Bedford are everywhere and the tour given by Gerry was so informative and well paced.
There is also an interactive headset documentary that really helps you experience the build up to D-day and puts you there on the beach but not in an over the top, scary fashion. It was worth experiencing.
Kenneth and Linda were so nice and are so happy to talk and answer any questions, we were made to feel so welcome! I would fully recommend a visit here, especially if visiting the D-day memorial, you would really be missing out not coming here.
