点评：Having just returned from our 3rd trip on Northwind, I wonder if I need say more - after all we wouldn’t have returned a 3rd time if the first 2 times hadn’t been amazing..
But no, I need to tell you why we came back.
Looking back to our first trip I recall a little trepidation as the adventure approached. We were about to spend 6 days in close proximity with strangers we had no idea about- what on earth were we facing??
I needn’t have worried, strangers are, after all, friends you haven’t yet met. It became very clear, very quickly that Jon and Jette were past masters at making one feel welcome and we soon felt as if we had known them for ages. As for our fellow guests, we just “clicked “
Northwind is a beautiful yacht , expertly sailed by Jon and Jette, when she isn’t performing magic in the galley. By the end of the first week we were all planning a reunion the following year. Year 2 was as good if not better than the first as we all knew each other that bit better and again by the end of the week we were planning a 3rd trip together!
So here we are at the end of year 3- the San Juans were beautiful of course but what makes the trip special is the people. Jon and Jette are perfect hosts and along with our fellow guests are now friends . Will there be a 4th reunion, I certainly hope so!
