⚠️ Scammed in Udo, Jeju! E-bike Rental Trap!!! 😡🚫

点评：To everyone planning a visit to Udo Island in Jeju, please, PLEASE avoid this horrible scam shop at all costs! This happened in early August 2026. It was hands down the most terrifying and ridiculous rental experience of my life—pure extortion and mental torture!
We went to Udo, Jeju, all excited and planning to rent an e-bike to tour the island. Little did we know, we were stepping right into Trap No. 1!
1. Classic Bait-and-Switch: Total Scam Artists! 💰
At first, the staff was all sweet talk and enthusiastic, explicitly stating the rental price was 35,000 KRW. But when it came time to pay, they suddenly charged us 50,000 KRW. At the time, we assumed the extra was just a security deposit, so we went along and paid it.
When we returned the bike, they flipped immediately! They blatantly claimed, "The price has always been 50,000 KRW," refused to refund the deposit, and threw a massive tantrum, denying they ever mentioned 35,000 KRW in the first place! Isn't this textbook fraud?!
2. Fake Damage Allegations: Demanding "Sky-High Compensation" Over a Tiny Smudge! 🧼
The most absurd and shocking part happened during the vehicle return! The staff looked over the bike for a moment, then suddenly pointed at the body, claiming we had "scratched and ruined" it and had to pay for damages! We took a closer look—it was literally just a tiny, insignificant smudge. We took out a wet wipe, wiped it for a second, and it disappeared completely without a trace!
Seeing the smudge gone, they still weren't satisfied and started making up wild excuses! They went on like, "Even if you wiped it off, the body surface isn't shiny enough! We have to send it all the way back to Jeju City center for polishing, and that's going to be VERY expensive!" The funny thing was, when we asked how much we needed to pay, they flat out refused to give a price—basically just wanting to blank-check scam us out of money!
3. Taking Advantage of Our Rush for the Last Ferry: Horrible Attitude & Holding Hostage of Driving Permit! 🤬
Knowing we were rushing to catch the last ferry off the island, the staff targeted our time crunch to stall us! They kept pointing out areas that "weren't shiny enough," so we followed their instructions and wiped the whole vehicle until it was sparkling bright (bright enough to use as a mirror)!
Realizing there was literally nothing left to pick on, the staff lost their temper completely and started screaming in rage!
❌ Yelling at us loudly in Korean with non-stop verbal abuse!
❌ Falsely accusing us of having "bad attitudes"!
❌ Withholding our International Driving Permits and demanding we apologize to them!
They simply realized they couldn't squeeze any money out of us, got petty, and vented their frustration! We had no choice but to waste precious time arguing with them. Only after fighting back aggressively did we finally get our driving permits back and rush to the boat—we almost missed the last ferry and got stranded on the island!
This whole experience was beyond disappointing! This shop is an absolute disgrace to Udo Island, specifically preying on tourists. Anyone renting an e-bike on Udo, please keep your eyes wide open, stay away from this scam shop, and NEVER rent from them! Don't let these toxic merchants ruin your vacation! 🚫🚗💥

最荒谬且令人震惊的一幕发生在车辆归还时！工作人员粗略检查了一下自行车，随后突然指着车身，声称我们“刮伤并损坏”了车辆，必须支付赔偿金！我们仔细看了看——那实际上只是一个微乎其微的小污点罢了。我们拿出湿纸巾，擦了一下而已。然后它就完全消失了，连一点痕迹都没留下！
看到污渍消失了，他们还是不满足，开始编造各种荒谬的借口！他们说道：“就算擦掉了，物体表面还是不够光亮！我们必须把它送回济州市中心去抛光，那样做会非常昂贵！”可笑的是，当我们询问具体要付多少钱时，他们直接拒绝报价——摆明了就是想让我们无限制地掏钱骗钱啊！
3.利用我们赶最后一班渡轮的急切心理：恶劣的态度与扣押驾驶执照！🤬
明知我们急着赶最后一班离岛的渡轮，工作人员却故意利用我们的时间紧迫感来拖延我们！他们不断指出车辆上“不够光亮”的地方，于是我们照做，把整辆车擦得闪闪发亮（亮到可以当镜子用）！
等到实在找不到任何可挑刺的地方时……那些工作人员完全失去理智，气得大喊大叫起来！
❌ 用韩语冲我们大声吼叫，还不停地辱骂我们！
❌ 无端指责我们“态度恶劣”！
❌ 扣留我们的国际驾驶许可证，还要求我们向他们道歉！
他们只是意识到从我们身上榨不出钱了，于是变得小心眼，把怒气都发泄在我们身上！我们别无选择，只能浪费宝贵的时间与他们争论。只有在奋力抗争之后，我们才终于拿回了驾驶许可证，急忙赶往码头——我们差点错过最后一班渡轮，差点被困在岛上！
这次经历真的让人极度失望！这家店简直是牛岛的耻辱，专门坑害游客。所有在牛岛租用电动自行车的朋友们，请务必擦亮眼睛，远离这家欺诈店铺，绝对不要从他们那里租车！可千万别让这些恶劣的商贩毁了你们的假期啊！🚫🚗💥
