Avoid Intrepid Tours

点评：I recently finished a tour with Intrepid; Mexico City to Oaxaca. Our tour guide Karla was beyond excellent!
However Intrepid is very dodgy. Meals that were advertised as included never happened, There was colossal mix up on arrival (3 days prior to the tour I received an email confirming the hotel name and address which was wrong! I spent the next day sorting out the correct hotel; paying for 3 calls to Canada… the 3rd call I finally got the correct hotel name and address and had to move, at my expense and time).
In general the hotels where we stayed were inferior… very uncomfortable beds! Everyday we hoped the next hotel would be an improvement….. it didn’t happen. We never received a proper itinerary of the trip…. It seemed every day we were ‘flying from the seat of our pants’.
Bottom line I would advise avoid Intrepid Tours.
