Aqua Marine Dive Center的点评
点评：This was my second year diving with Aqua Marine, and they did not disappoint! Did 6 days of 2-tank diving, so got to experience much of their staff. Steph, dive captain and guide, is knowledgeable and friendly, and really wants to be sure it's a good experience. Ketchup (aka Ben) is a master of the macros and full of joyous energy. Earl is the calm one who keeps an eye on everyone. Zach, Dillon, and Lewis are each competent and friendly. They all have really good energy working together (which isn't always the case at dive shops).
What I like about Aqua Marine is (i) they do a clear and succinct briefing; (ii) they 'read the room' to assess skill levels so that they can tailor help/guidance in an appropriate way; (iii) they seem to have a reasonable ratio 4 -5 divers/guide; (iv) they let you dive a full 60 mins (but will accompany divers to the boat who want to return sooner); and (v) they don't over- hype the dive sites. Honestly, St Thomas diving isn't the best diving I do (but any day diving is better than not) so I'm happy they don't act like it's the be all end all of diving. They just enjoy.
I didn't rent any gear, but their gear looked pretty new and well cared for. They rinsed and cleaned my personal gear, and did a thorough job of it (thank you!). The boat is clean and comfortable and they provide snacks and drinks. Go with these guys!
