A very warm welcome, fantastic tours and delicious food - casa Calin is our favourite spot in the Danube Delta

点评：We spent a long weekend in the Danube Delta. We were there in the off-season, which meant most guesthouses were closed. But Ion and Elena gave us the warmest welcome and made everything possible! Our room was bright and spotlessly clean. They even managed to arrange an extra bed – they are fantastic hosts!
Casa Calin, the guest house, is situated directly on the Danube middle canal. Ion took us on a tour of the Delta in his motorboat. He is extremely knowledgeable about the region and has lots of interesting facts to share about wildlife, vegetation and history. He is very caring and even provided us with warm blankets and raincoats - just in case!
Breakfast and dinner was prepared by Elena. She is an excellent chef, and almost all of her ingredients come straight from the garden or the river. Her fish soup made with catfish and carp was particularly delicious.
With both Elena und Ioan you can really sense their deep connection to this unique place and their joy in introducing guests to it. We’d love to come back soon!
