Beautiful but lots of dogs

点评：Beautiful place but full of dogs. We went as a family of four. We thought we’d found a hidden gem but it was unfortunately ruined by a lot of dogs, off leads, running up to us and onto all our stuff. One woman let her dog do two big piles of dog poo right where my children were playing. She didn’t have a bag and proceeded to dig a small hole and bury the poo. That spoilt it for us. I didn’t feel comfortable allowing my children to dig in the sand to make sandcastles. She seemed to think nothing of it and walked on. We confronted her on her way back down the beach but she was going to leave it there …. We also had an altercation with a brash dog owner who seemed to think it was ok for her massive dog to bound up to my kids when they were eating. It was more the number of ignorant dog owners that upset us.
Not the place to go if you want to have a picnic, make sandcastles and play ball games with your kids…. Unless you’re happy to watch dogs pooing and have them bound up to you when eating/playing. As far as we could see there wasn’t a dog free area.
Absolutely great though if you’re a dog lover. Needless to say we don’t have a dog and didn’t want to be surrounded by them, so we cut our trip short.
Parking was ok, didn’t take us too long to get a spot and there was a nice little coffee truck called Blooms. The beach a short walk (5 min) from the carpark across the sea wall. There are some relatively clean, public toilets in the village.

如果你想野餐、堆沙堡、和孩子们一起玩球，这里绝对不是个好去处……除非你乐意看着狗狗拉屎，也乐意它们在你吃饭/玩耍时黏着你。据我们观察，这里似乎没有禁止狗狗进入的区域。
